From our music, dance, food and even our styles of dress and fashion; Jamaicans have always used their creativity as an outlet of expression. And it has definitely paid off on a global scale as our culture is one of the most recognizable in the world. So is it a surprise to you that prancing around on this fabulous island of wood and water are some of the best content creators in the world?!!

Jamaican content creators and influencers have become a major driving force that is both shaping and showcasing Jamaica's culture and industries as it emerges into the 21st century. There has never been a better time for creatives to pursue their passions and showcase their talents. All hail the queen of creativity and concepts! She is undoubtedly one of the most creative Jamaicans on Instagram. Her concepts are so well thought out, it's awe-inspiring. Her feed is a literal artistic dream. It's like stepping into the editorial room at Vogue or watching literal masterpieces being brought to life. And to top it all off, she shoots her pics using her phone. Boom! * Mic drop* She has beyond elevated phone photography to new heights. If you aren't following Lexi on Instagram I feel like half your life has been wasted honestly and you need to fix it pronto!!!

Suetanya McHorgh

You ever see someone who just has a vibe. Their aura is so alluring and captivating that you can't stop staring. That’s how I feel when I see Suetanya’s feed. It’s a bit ethereal. Suetanya takes some of the most enthralling photos on Instagram, luring you in and making you feel like you really need to take a vacation pronto. She is just so effortlessly cool and it reflects in her photos. And aside from her beauty, travel and lifestyle content, Suetanya is also a brilliant entrepreneur and girl boss, proving she is definitely more than a pretty face.

Kristia Franklin (My repeat offender)

Kristia is our resident fashionista and probably one of the most stylish people on Instagram. Her taste is absolutely impeccable. Her style unmatched. Her insta video tutorials are chef kiss. Her fashion sense has an easy, cool, elegant feel to it. Stylish yet minimalistic. Whether rocking boyfriend jeans, an edgy jacket or a loose floral dress, she absolutely crushes it. Her outfits are stunning perfection. How does she do it?! She never misses in my opinion. I always find some styling inspiration from her feed. And maybe just maybe one day I’ll be as fashionable as she is.

Natasha Lee- Duhaney

I just have one thing to say about Nastasha, she is #GOALS!!! When I say she is KILLING IT. I mean crime scene, yellow tape, no resuscitation can happen killing it! Her feed is a virtual masterpiece. Her fashion game and aesthetics are A1, top notch perfection. I must admit I’m a bit in awe of how stunning her photos are; and her brand collabs have me running to cop whatever products she features immediately. She is undoubtedly one of my absolute favourite content creators on Instagram. Looking on her insta feed is an instant mood booster for me.

Chantai Robinson (Taifromthetropics)

I only recently came across Chantai’s feed and can I tell you I am in awe of her. Always with some stunning background, this beauty creator serves the glamour needed to brighten up my feed. Colourful eyeshadows, golden hair and a beat face seems to be a must have for this beauty. Now let’s add the fact that not only is her Instagram feed beautiful, but this young queen is an entrepreneur that is killing it. She is a visual embodiment of the Jamaican expression ‘likkle but tllawah’. Just stunning.

Ashley is honestly just a mood. She is the embodiment of aesthetic vibes. Stunning captures of her travelscapades has my wanderlusting heart beating with excitement every time she makes a post. Brilliant colours and great editing coupled with her authentic personality that shines through in every photo really is swoon worthy. Her feed is literally my dream feed. I absolutely love it!!!

Shanique is the picture of demure class and femininity if I’ve ever seen it. Curating her feed with a clean, minimalistic aesthetic her instagram page is the embodiment of simple elegance. Her style is enviable and she is always ready and willing to put us on to amazing new beauty products to level up our lives. And you know she’s only giving us the best advice as she is also a pharmacist. Honestly, Shanique is lifestyle goals. I only hope one day I can be the symbol of classy elegance that she is.

If the song ‘hot girl summer’ was a person that’s how I’d describe Lori. The spiritual guide herself. Like the others, Tawana's feed is filled with fabulous pictures and enviable captures. But that's not what I go on her page for. Why I love Tawana's feed is for the constant supply of inspiration she provides through her words. The serenity, the calm and the peace seeps through so that you can even feel it through your screen. It's soothing and relaxing in this world of hecticness.

If ever I need a swift reminder that it's time I got back on my own wellness journey I look no further than on Phrancielle's page. That girl is in serious shape and it's nothing short of motivating and inspiring. Not only does she showcase her determination and consistency in her intense workouts but she also gives great recipes that seem really yummy and eat to recreate. I swear everytime I look on her page I feel the sudden urge to workout and eat clean and that's definitely a good thing. Now if I would only follow through.
